April’s Reading Catch-Up

Talk about a 0 to 10 on the Richter scale.

This month I had to mourn just a little, because of The Secret Library’s very first DNF (did not finish) read. These are RARE. I try my hardest to finish books I’m not enjoying that much. The big question is, why bother? But, if I’m going to review something, I feel like I should have an idea of the whole book. Unfortunately, there are some books that fall short of even that.

Yet, this month, I also discovered a brand new favourite author. In fact, already consider me a super-fan! A few weeks ago, I stumbled across the books of the ridiculously talented S.M. Reine. The review for her book Witch Hunt came out yesterday on The Secret Library and I’ve just finished reading another of hers Drawing Dead which will be up in the next few weeks.

April reading has had its epic highs and miserable lows, but this is the first DNF in over a year and hopefully it’ll be at least that long until the next one. One thing is for sure, May is going to be filled with awesome S.M. Reine books!

Thanks for reading!
