Paranormal and urban fantasy fans, but more specifically SHIFTER fans, y’all need to have a look at this one.

The Raven Queen is a brand new book by author Emma Jayne Mills featuring Aurora, a young woman born into a wolf-shifter pack, only to discover that she is in fact a RAVEN shifter. Whaaaa? Check out the blurb-a-rooney:

“-Some Myths Are Prophecy-

A single raven, born of wolves,
the time to reign for her has come.
Her faith is strong,
her heart is true.
Raven Queen we call to you.

Three thousand years ago The Raven Queen, alongside her Fae and Vampire sisters were prophesised to bring peace to the paranormal races.

They failed!

The vampires enslaved the witches they didn’t burn, the shifters went into hiding and the Fae closed off their realm forever. The war still rages, but a new Raven Queen has been born and a new prophecy has come to pass. However, fulfilling a prophecy is the last thing on Aurora Byrne’s mind, because her pack doesn’t yet know there’s a raven in its midst.”

Confession time: I’ve already started reading this one. The lovely Emma Jayne Mills sent me an ARC copy last week and I’m gutted I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to it as I’d like. BUT I have read the first quarter of the book so far and it’s really great stuff – FYI, it’s hot stuff too. *fans self*

If you fancy reading an excerpt, the author has some on her website – check it out!

The Raven Queen is due to hit the shelves on 18th June for only 99p/99c and I can actually recommend it because of what I’ve read so far. Pre-order it on Amazon here – don’t worry it’s only a four day wait!

If you want to follow the shenanigans of the author, Emma Jayne Mills, she has a very active Facebook group which is perfect for anyone who enjoys talking book boyfriends. It’s always a hot discussion topic!

Thanks for reading. Let me know if you pre-ordered The Raven Queen!
