Tea for Readers

Teas for Readers 107

For the first time in a long time, this month’s paycheque is actually lasting longer than expected. Y’all know that this probably won’t happen for another seven years so I decided to get yet more tea. I also did get more calligraphy pens, as I mentioned last week. They’re multi-coloured and so gorgeous, I can’t wait to try them out!

Anyway, back to teas.

Last week’s tea, the Super Fruits Immune with Vitamin C tea, was super tasty so I wanted to try out its sibling:

Super Fruits Boost with Vitamin B6.

More berries!

Now, I don’t know how good these things are at actually boosting immune systems but if they’re a source of vitamins that we can’t get from normal tea, I’m on board.

This tea is a lovely tea for warm nights rather than cold ones. It’s summery and has a great dark fruits taste that really brings up memories of autumn. It’s kinda nostalgic!

What books are best with this tea?

Personally, I think this is the best kind of tea to have at Halloween. It just feels like a perfect match. So, the best books to read with this tea are definitely Halloween-themed. Maybe a nifty little anthology with lots of Halloween short stories or a super scary novel with loads of frightful supernatural creatures in it.

I recommend mummies if you aren’t sure where to start. In the 90s, mummies were hot at Halloween and it’s super nostalgic. Forget vampires, where’s our mummy resurgence?

Where can I get it?

Like last week, I got this tea from Lidl. In fairness, this will be where I get most of my teas from on account of it being my regular shop. You’ll find it in big supermarkets in the UK for sure and also probably the USA and Canada. Tetley originates from the UK but by now it’s pretty widespread – they have been around for 182 years!

When in doubt, check out Amazon.

Thanks for reading! What teas would you recommend? I’d love to try them!
