“Charity hasn’t had it easy. Growing up in a bad part of Chicago, left by her mother at sixteen, she’s a survivor. So when she gets a scholarship to a good college out in California, she thinks all her dreams have come true.
Instead she falls head first into a nightmare.
At a posh party she doesn’t belong, she gets the shock of her life: vampires and shifters are real! Magic is real. And she is anything but a mundane poor kid just trying to make it.
Warrior runs in her blood. If only she knew how to use it.
Suddenly she is trapped between two magical super powers – a cunning elder vampire who wishes to use her for her blood ties and maybe tie her to the bed, and a sexy alpha shifter who will protect her at all costs.
Her life of surviving could’ve never prepared her for this. And if she doesn’t learn to harness the fae magic running through her blood, she’ll be imprisoned forever.”

We’re going back to basics with Warrior Fae Trapped. A vampire, a shifter and a lost girl thrown into the thick of it. An inevitable war, a complicated supernatural history and of course, a love triangle. Who doesn’t love those?
This book may only have come out two days ago but it’s already #1 on several paranormal, supernatural and shifter-related charts. As far as I can tell, it’s also the first book in the series, if it is indeed a series. One way or the other, it’s the very beginning of Charity’s story.
This set-up is a bit of a blast from the past but I’m sensing that the author has put their own twist on this genre. It doesn’t have the same old-school vibe as when the vampire-werewolf love triangle thing was just starting out back in the late 00s. I’m definitely chucking this onto my TBR pile because I can’t help but feel intrigued.
Where can I get it?
Probably because it’s only just been released, but Warrior Fae Trapped is only available in e-book and audiobook format. It’s an unusual combination and the cover is that pretty that I’m personally holding out for a paperback copy. (Don’t tell my husband).
