#1 in the Urban Fantasy Charts

What’s #1 in the Urban Fantasy Charts?

Would you believe it, we’ve finally got a brand new entry at #1 on the Teen & Young Adult Paranormal & Urban Fantasy chart!

Weeks. Weeks it’s been since we got to feature the #1 book on the top of the charts. It’s super refreshing that there are a few new books up there on the charts right now because while it was great that the books we featured were getting such great success, it’s nice to have other books to choose from.

This week, we’ve got another academy book at the top of the charts and like many of the others this one has a gorgeous cover:

Nightworld Academy Term Three by L.J. Swallow

Nightworld Academy Term Three is book three in the Nightworld Academy series, so the story is a little along by now and by the looks of the blurb, Term One and Term Two are pretty essential to understanding what’s going on.

But here’s the gist of the series: Nightworld Academy is a supernatural academy for vampires, shifters and witches. Personally, I enjoy the academy books that have more than one species in them, so this is cool.

But this isn’t just an academy book, Term One’s blurb suggests that these books are also potentially a reverse harem bully romance. Yup, there’s a lot going on in this series.

Term Three blurb:

“I’m back at the Nightworld academy and looking forward to a new term, but life isn’t any easier. I’m still reeling from the events at the Winter Ball and Tobias’s revelation. Now a new face on campus is about to throw everything into turmoil.

My relationship with the guys grows more complicated. I’m worried Ash is drifting away from me, I’m no closer to finding how to stop Jamie’s death, and my feelings for Andrei confuse us both. Amelia’s also behaving oddly, and I’m worried she’s planning something stupid. Is somebody trying to pull us apart?

Add in the rivalry of the academy games, and this term will test friendships.

A prank leads to a frightening and confusing vision unlike anything I’ve experienced, and I’m now certain the biggest danger to the academy is somebody or something already here.

Amidst all the confusion, one thing is clear. I need to work on perfecting my new abilities and holding us together before the Dominion infiltrate the academy and my new world comes crashing down.”

This series sounds like it incorporates a lot of popular tropes that are bouncing around the academy genre right now, so it makes sense it’s popular. But honestly, this one seems right up my alley, on the basis that there are going to be more than just shifters/vampires/witches in the school. Supernatural diversity is essential in this day and age!

Where can I get it?

Books one and two are available on Amazon in the standard array of formats: e-book, paperback and audiobook. But Term 3 is currently only available in e-book format. I’m guessing that book three isn’t in the other formats yet because it was only released three days ago, so paperback and audiobook formats are probably just around the corner.

The Amazon link for Term One is right hereTerm Two is here and Term Three is a-right here.

Thanks for reading! If you haven’t seen our other #1s yet, check them out here!

  1. I think basically all her books are reverse harem but the horsemen series are a avert the apocalypse, keep the portals between worlds closed, prevent chaos. I’ve just started reading The Nightworld Academy yesterday finally.
