#1 in the Urban Fantasy Charts

What’s #1 in the Urban Fantasy Charts?

There is a brand new contender at the top of the Teen & Young Adult Paranormal & Urban Fantasy chart this week. It’s impressive that a book that wasn’t even on the front page last week has shot its way up right to the top ahead of other books that have been up there for literally months.

It’s always nice to see a new book hit the #1 spot. It gives me hope that maybe one of my books could get there one day. It’s a lifetime goal and sometimes it’s hard not to fantasise about it. But seeing some brand new titles at the top will have to do for now.

So here’s what #1 on the charts this week:

blood trial

As the twenty-one-year-old heiress to the Le Spyre fortune, my life should consist of strawberry mojitos and golf carts. Right?

But I’m determined to forge my own path.

Desperate to escape the meaningless games of the rich, I flee my family’s estate.

Secret alias—check.
Place to sleep—uh, kind of?

I’ve bitten off more than I can chew, but that’s the least of my worries.

My city is a giant board game. The players are supernatural— freakin’ vampires—including an overbearing crown prince whose unwanted attention could spell my demise.

Now, I must play their deadly game, or my grandmother and best friend will pay the ultimate price.”

I’ve only read one vampire monarchy story but I have to say, I’m a fan. In fairness, vampires are that powerful that they really should all have their own monarchies whether humans know about them or not. If they were real, it’s just something that would inevitably happen.

Even if the vampire hype has died down a little, they’re always going to be a supernatural staple. This one is a tad pricey for my liking for an e-book. There comes a point where it’s just more worth the money to get a paperback. (If ever there is a day when I can straight up afford as many paperbacks as I like, my husband will rue the day he married a reader!)

If Blood Trial looks like your kind of book, here’s the buy link.

Thanks for reading!
