What's on the TBR pile?

What’s on the reading pile?

I decided I needed to change the title of the Monday segment because maybe not everyone knows what TBR stands for. It’s a great shortening of “to be read” but it’s not exactly universal, so from now on this segment will be called: What’s on the reading pile? I don’t know, I think it sounds kinda snappy.

The last few weeks I’ve been on a bit of a book buying bender. It’s nearly Christmas and I’ve been doing a lot of socialising with indie authors. So, naturally, my reading pile is a lot higher now than it was at the beginning of the month. December is turning out to be the month for new releases and as you know, book buying is super satisfying!

This book is just one of many I’ve bought this week without my husband finding out:

“Club Frenzy is a licensed vampire feeding bar. You can go there for the night of your life, or for the start of a new lifetime. Follow the story of three young women as they sample the wares, and as the locals sample them right back.”

I haven’t had Jade Thorn on my reading pile before but I’m looking forward to this one. It’s nice to have something saucy to read once in a while and this cover promises all that and a nice red ribbon.

To start with I wondered if this one was urban fantasy or paranormal or supernatural at all because of the cover. But this is a boxed set of three novellas all set in the same “Club Frenzy” – the club where vampires go to hang out. Sounds good to me!

Yup, what with the reverse harem and vampire clubs lately, the heat factor is ramping up a little bit over here. I might start have to putting steam ratings on the book reviews. In fact, yes, that’s happening as of next week. That’s how hot the reads are getting lately.

Anyway, this one looks great and I’m looking forward to reading it!

Thanks for reading!
