What's on the TBR pile?

What’s on the reading pile: Imbalance

The Tarot Witches series is has transferred from the “to-read” pile to the “read” pile.

What an eye opening series that was!

My review on the final book in the series, Summer Court, is coming on Wednesday and while it was a great series to read, I’m looking forward to moving on to the next book. I love reading series but I’m not in the habit of reading them all in one go.

Having said that, the sixth book in one of my favourite series has just arrived in the post a few days ago!

“When Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph return to Earthen Fire Industries–the factory owned by Toph’s father–Aang is surprised when their arrival is met with a cold shoulder. As soon as the team is asked for help at a business council meeting, the reason for the slight becomes clear: a massive bender-versus-non-bender conflict has gripped the town and is threatening to turn violent. In order to heal the divide and save the town, Aang and the team will all face tough decisions about power and identity that could tear them apart.”

The final (maybe!) book in the Avatar: The Last Airbender graphic novel series is finally on my bookshelf!

The last book in the series North and South (check out the review here) was supposed to be the very last graphic novel library edition the authors released. However, they decided to carry on with the Avatar’s story and I know I’m not the only one over the moon about this. Especially because this means that this book might not be the last one either!

In this book, I’m looking forward to finding out how the bender vs. non-bender conflicts really began and how they led up to the events of Avatar Korra’s first series.

If you haven’t watched these series yet, I couldn’t recommend them enough! Right now Avatar: The Last Airbender is available on Netflix and it will restore your faith in humanity. Plus, it’s a super easy watch for if you’re feeling a bit bogged down with the gritty and suspenseful stuff that’s popular right now.

Long story short, I can’t wait to start reading this one! Review to follow!

Thanks for reading!
