There’s one sub-genre of fantasy I don’t really touch on in this blog and for good reason, it’s not really my thing. Sci-fi fantasy has really come into its own lately but I have enough to read still in urban fantasy, magic realism and paranormal romance. Researching sci-fi fantasy is definitely on the back burner right now but I’ll cop to it, I’m intrigued.
Magic in space? At first it strikes as an odd combination but the best writers out there could make a genre like that really freaking pop. So in the interest of diversifying into other sub-genres, here’s a giveaway you might like.
No Graves For Heroes is a straight-up sci-fi but the prizes include Star Wars merch which I class as sci-fi fantasy what with all the magic. Yeah, they call it “the force” but we can see it for what it really is: cool-ass magic.
Also, there’s Firefly merch in this giveaway too and if you don’t know how awesome that series is, I suggest you get your butt on Neflix or Amazon Prime and watch the crap out of it. Soon, you’ll be raging about how the show was cancelled, too!
As well as a signed paperback of No Graves For Heroes, the Star Wars poster and Firefly merch, there is Courtney Cannon’s usual Funko Pop and a few other awesome prizes.
If you want in on this giveaway, go to this link and follow the instructions. You can enter many, many times before the giveaway ends and give yourself more entries and a better chance to win. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Good luck and thanks for reading! Did you know I also write urban fantasy books? Check them out here!
