Harkening back to old tales from hundreds or thousands of years ago is a whole different type of story-telling. Nothing was fact, no solid records exist, and everything is up for debate. For those of us that love to read magic, the old ages are the best source of magical stories.
So, why don’t we embrace the old stories with a giveaway for all the myths and legends we enjoy?

I can personally attest that Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman is awesome, which is a retelling of all the Norse legends from his perspective. The other prizes include four more myths and legends style books, a Unicorn sherbet candle, a mermaid-at-heart mug, a Kitsune enamel pin, an Atlantis‘ Kida wall print, and a Medusa magnet.
On a side note, I absolutely love Kida from Atlantis and I doubt I’m the only one who thinks they should make another Atlantis movie. Either live action or a follow-on animation, so long as it’s done properly. She was such a great character, the movie was awesome, and it feels like her five minutes of fame was overshadowed by other movies at the time. Bring back Kida!
This giveaway is another of Courtney Cannon’s creations, so as usual, there will be plenty of opportunities to enter every day. Every entry means an even better chance of winning, and I’d be particularly eager to win this one. Here is the link to the giveaway page on Courtney’s website.
Good luck and thanks for reading! Did you know I also write urban fantasy books? Check them out here!
