This week will be a transition back to normality for The Secret Library. I have had absolutely no time to read in the past three weeks, not even on the weekends, so I will be replacing the usual review on Wednesday with a post explaining a little more about The Rogue Valkyrie series and what to expect in the coming months.
By next week, I’ll have a book or two under my belt and The Secret Library will be back to its regularly scheduled programming. I didn’t quite anticipate how release week would shake up all other areas, including this blog, but the release proved to take all my time, attention, and energy. It was truly an experience I’m grateful for!
As an Anxious Author, taking on a venture like becoming a full-time, self-published author, can be hugely stressful at times. But at every turn, the will to write, publish, and succeed always outweighs the anxiety. The determination of powering through the hurdles must always win out.
I would like to thank each and every one of you who has supported the blog over the past several years, and those of you who have supported my author career by purchasing a copy of Valkyrie Cursed. I truly appreciate all your support over all this time, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
I didn’t expect the blog to get thrown into the air quite as much as it did over release week, but I consider myself much better prepared for next time. Ideally, I don’t want to change things much for release weeks in future, particularly not the sequels of this series, which will receive much less fanfare than the first in the series.
So please bear with me while I get back into the swing of things and finally find a minute to sit down and do some reading. I have a few books by the talented Rachel Shaw that I’ve been meaning to get to!
